Sentencing today for massive embezzlement in AntigoSubmitted: 08/02/2013
Story By Newswatch 12 Newsteam

GREEN BAY - A woman accused of embezzling close to half a million dollars at an Antigo business will pay the price today.

Sentencing happens this afternoon in federal court for Susan Tatro.

She used to be the Human Resources Director at the Waukesha Bearings plant in Antigo.

Tatro faced more than 30 counts of federal wire fraud, but reached a deal to plead guilty to two counts.

She will still face up to 20 years in prison... and would have to pay back everything the feds say she stole.

The latest estimate was 462-thousand dollars.

Tatro has questioned the government's estimate.

Tatro was fired in 2011 when the company discovered financial records didn't add up.

In a letter to the court, the defense conceded Tatro took money from her employer on a number of occasions, and acknowledged she had a serious gambling problem.
