Former Badger Chelios to be inducted into Hockey HOF
Story By Joe Dufek

- I know some of us still do not want to hear about anything dealing with winter. Especially after the spring we had.

But a former Badger hockey star is going to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of fame.

Chris Chelios is arguable considered the greatest American-born hockey player. He played 26 seasons in the NHL - tied with the great Gordie Howe.
He was an 11-time NHL All-star.

He scored 948 points in 1651 regular season games.

He's a 4-time Olympian.

He won 3 Stanley Cup titles.

He was also a member of the 1983 Badgers national championship team.

The only other Badger ever inducted into the Hall, was longtime coach "Badger Bob" Johnson.

Brendan Shanahan, Scott Niedermayer, Fred Shero, and Geraldine Heaney are the other inductees.

The induction ceremony is November 11th in Toronto.
