NORTHWOODS - Strong storms hit parts of the Northwoods hard on Tuesday afternoon.

Law enforcement even confirmed a tornado touchdown near the intersection of U.S. 45 and County Highway C by Deerbrook in Lanaglade County.

Newswatch 12 has yet to learn of any damage or injuries from that tornado.

Elsewhere, more than a thousand Wisconsin Public Service customers were still without power in Lincoln County as of 6pm.

Stay tuned to Newswatch 12 for the latest weather updates.
