Story By Lyndsey Stemm

EAGLE RIVER - The man accused of stabbing someone at a party in Lac du Flambeau says he didn't do it.

Thirty-year-old James Peterson is charged with attempted first degree intentional homicide.

Witnesses told police he showed up with a knife and drunkenly started a fight. Other witnesses say Peterson was attacked.

Today he pleaded not guilty.

Peterson had been held on $15,000 cash bond, but today Judge Neal Nielsen lowered it to $750.

He'll be back in court July 23rd.
