EAGLE RIVER - Ask any fisherman and they'll tell you, catching a musky takes patience. But when you're in a tournament, you also need a little luck.
There are 74 teams competing in the weekend spring classic on the Eagle River chain. When a musky bites a judge is called over to the boat to help measure it, get a quick picture, and then the fish is released.
Today 24 muskies were caught and 11 of them were 40 inches or longer.
The thrill of the catch, is something people are happy to describe.
MANITOWISH WATERS - People wanting to get into the holiday spirit didn't need to look further than Manitowish Waters.
Saturday was the 8th annual Festival of Trees.
The event raised money for the Frank B. Koller Memorial Library.
"We are offering businesses to come in and decorate a tree and it's a festive way to recognize local area businesses plus raise money for the library," said Koller Memorial Library director Janelle Kohl.
