Hodags #1 Doubles advance in D1 TennisSubmitted: 05/20/2013

WAUSAU - The post season is underway for several sports.

Division 1 Subsectional in boys tennis was in Wausau on Monday. East hosting the meet.

#1 Doubles - Rhinelander in the near court against Antigo. Trent Wild and Lou Bassette won the match for the Hodags.

#2 singles - Wausau East's Simeon Nikolov with a nice return against Marshfield. He also won his match.


Also in #2 singles - Ben Rodenkirch of SPASH against Rhinelander. Rodenkirch advanced in straight sets.

Team standings - Wausau East and SPASH are tied for first with 20. Marshfield is third. Antigo and Rhinelander tied for 4th.

Winners play in Sectionals on Wednesday.
