Rhinelander, Crandon earn baseball victoriesSubmitted: 05/13/2013

RHINELANDER, CRANDON - In high school baseball Monday, the Hodags took on Lakeland at Hodag Park.

In Game One, Rhinelander's Trevor Young drove in one run with the bases loaded in the Rhinelander half of the first inning.

But Lakeland would score four runs in the top of second, to take a 4-1 lead. Alec Redmer drove one run in on a double down the third base line.

However Rhinelander would score 5 straight runs... Hodags took game one 6-4. Their first win at home this season.


In the second game, Lakeland would bounce back with a 4-0 win.

In Crandon, the Cardinals would rally to defeat Florence 11-8.

In softball on Monday, Florence would nip Crandon 2-1.
