A different kind of golf in the Northwoods
ARBOR VITAE - WOODRUFF - Eagle, fairway and driver. Words that someone would normally associate with golf, but a similar sport is thriving in the Northwoods.
This weekend over 60 disc golfers took over the course at Brandy Lake.

The 2 day shoot out was the first tournament at the course in Woodruff. 9 different divisions competed from juniors to the pros.

Disc golf has the same basic etiquette and rules as golf but instead of a ball, you are using specially designed discs.

Despite tough weather conditions, the event was a huge success.
