Man in Prison for Videotaping Nude Girl Wants Property BackSubmitted: 05/03/2013
Story By Lyndsey Stemm

RHINELANDER - The Rhinelander man in prison for videotaping a nude girl and stealing from Camp Birchrock wants his property back. But he'll have to wait a little longer.

Thirty four-year-old Jeremy Fadoul was the director at Camp Birchrock. Fadoul was convicted of stealing nearly $50,000 from the camp, and putting a video camera in the girls showers.

Last January he was sentenced to two and a half years in state prison and two and a half years extended supervision.

Today he wanted the court to give him his trailer and computers back. Police took them and other items as evidence in the investigation.

"There will be several items that the state does not object to that will be returned," says Oneida County District Attorney Mike Schiek.

But District Attorney Schiek said there are other items they will object to. He says some are contraband, or not Fadoul's property.

Judge Patrick O'Melia decided to postpone the property hearing. Fadoul will need to find out if he's eligible for a public defender for a post conviction matter.

A new hearing is set for June 7th.

EAGLE RIVER - These unseasonably warm temps can make it hard for snowmobilers to enjoy the trails. The Wisconsin Snow Report says snowmobile trails in Eagle River are overall in poor condition.

"You don't know if the season comes to an end at this point because you never know when Mother Nature will throw a twist at things and give you a 20 inch snowstorm because that can happen. You know, the big lake is still open up north and if the winds come down that way, we could see a lot of Lake Affect snow yet," said Eagle River Sno Eagles Trail Boss Brian Scheid.
