Story By Associated Press

HURLEY - Rising waters have closed a Highway at Hurley.

Crews shut down eastbound traffic on Wisconsin 77, also known as Silver Street.

The road is closed between Highway 51 and the Michigan boarder.

Traffic is being routed around the problem area.

After the water goes down in the Montreal river, crews will examine a bridge for safety before re-opening the road.
