MERRILL - Major construction on an overpass at the Highway C/North Star Drive and Highway 51 intersection north of Merrill should begin May 13th.

But the owners of the Citgo gas station there STILL don't plan on going down without a fight.

The overpass would cut off access to the gas station from Highway 51. That's a move Raj Bhandari says would kill his business.

Bhandari and his family protested the project by trying to walk from Merrill to Madison last summer.

They wanted to convince Governor Walker to cancel the multi-million project. That failed and plans for the project moved forward.

Bhandari told us Monday he's filing a federal lawsuit. He'll be in court in Madison this Friday to present the suit.
