Police Say Road Raging, Drunk Man Crashes Car into HouseSubmitted: 04/21/2013

WESTON - A Weston man spent Saturday in jail after he crashed his car into a house.

It happened just after Midnight on Ross Avenue and Birch Street.

Everest Metro Police said 30-year-old Adam Dupleasis was chasing a man in his jeep while he was drunk.

He crashed into the home's garage, causing more than $30,000 worth of damage.

Dupleasis was arrested for first offense OWI. He was also cited with a number of other traffic violations including reckless driving..

No one was injured.

MARATHON COUNTY - Searchers found a missing boater in Marathon County dead.

A call came in to the Marathon County Sheriff's Department around 9:45 Tuesday night.

The caller told them a boater might be missing on the Big Eau Pleine Flowage.

Deputies and members of the Mosinee Fire Department searched for the man using the fire department's boat.

The man's boat was found near the dam east of Highway O.

The man was found dead inside.

He had been alone in the boat, and foul play is not suspected.

MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee mother whose car was stolen with her infant strapped in the back seat says she held onto the vehicle for as long as she could as the carjackers drove away.

The woman was dragged down the street in Milwaukee Monday and eventually lost her grip. But what happened next was unexpected. The car stopped about a block away. And, one of the two carjackers got out, removed the 1-month-old baby, still in his car seat, and left him at the curb.

Surveillance video from a nearby house shows the mother running to retrieve her baby, who wasn't hurt.

Police are looking for the carjackers and the vehicle.

RHINELANDER - Road crews went back to work Monday in Rhinelander. One of the bumpiest roads in town got a little smoother Monday afternoon. 

Crews worked to repave the corner of Oneida and Lincoln Streets by the Holiday gas station.

LAND O' LAKES - The Vilas County Sheriff's Office believes a tree falling into a power line caused a fire in Land O' Lakes Monday afternoon.

The Sheriff's Office received a call from a Wisconsin DNR warden at 2:12 p.m. reporting a grass fire in the area of Claire Fire Lane and County Trunk Highway S southwest of Land O' Lakes.
