KANSAS CITY - Friday morning, the Badgers begin their Dance. Wisconsin takes on Mississippi. The game tips off at 11:10 a.m.
Badgers are the #5 seed in the West Region. Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan has led the Badgers to the Sweet 16 the last two seasons.
Mississippi averages nearly 80 points per game, while Wisconsin defensively only giving up just under 60 per game.
Most think Wisconsin's style of play is slow. The Badgers don't believe it, and don't care.
"Everybody is super concerned with how we play," says Badger senior forward Mike Bruesewitz. "'We might be the slowest team in the country.' We don't get too concerned about that. We work to get good shots. On the defensive end, we make work and make sure the other team doesn't get good shots."
MINOCQUA - “This disease is called the great imitator for a good reason,” says Jeff Waite.
Lyme disease can be good at hiding.
“Lyme disease is a bacterial type infection spread by a spiral keet, which is also considered a parasite. And it can be carried in the spit glands and intestinal track of ticks in this area. Particularly the deer tick," said Dr. Kurt Landauer.
