MADISON - Former Wisconsin tailback Ron Dayne is among the candidates to possibly get inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
Dayne is the all-time leading rusher in College Football History. He also won the 1999 Heisman Trophy.
He's among 77 candidates on the initial list for consideration. The College Football Hall of Fame is located in South Bend, Indiana.
Players are not directly voted into the Hall of Fame. Votes are counted and given to a committee with the National Football Foundation. They ultimately select the class.
This year's induction class will be announced in May.
MERRILL - Farmers in Lincoln and Langlade Counties may need to make a longer drive or call a different office for USDA services.
