Driver hits moose on Hwy 45 near MonicoSubmitted: 02/28/2013

MONICO - A driver crashed into a moose Thursday night on a rural Oneida County roadway. It happened after 7 p.m. north of Monico.

Facebook friends Jennifer Joerns and Gary Kluwe submitted photos of the crash.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office confirmed the crash happened on Highway 45, south of C.

The moose was killed in the crash. The driver of the car was not taken to the hospital.
