Generations Art Gallery Debut Submitted: 02/22/2013
Story By Ryan Abney

RHINELANDER - You can find a family's creative work on display at Nicolet College. Today was the opening of the Generations Exhibit.

All three artists have been making masterpieces throughout the last several decades---and are all related.

Pastel Artist Andrea Fenner is the family's middle daughter. She's lived in the Northwoods for years. For her it's the perfect place to be an artist.

"All I have to do is walk outside to get my inspiration. Many of my pastels are from local areas as well as travels I have done in the past."

Fenner's father is also featured artist in the gallery. He passed away in the early 2000's---but he's another reason she stays inspired.

"In his 50's he decided if his daughters could be artists, then he could be one too. My father is a big inspiration to me but like I said we come from a family of artists. We inspire each other I think."

The Generations Art Exhibit will be featured at the Nicolet Gallery until March 18th.
