Appleton man killed in Forest County snowmobile crashSubmitted: 01/29/2013

CRANDON - An Appleton man died while snowmobiling in Forest County Monday afternoon.

The Forest County Sheriff's Office and the DNR responded to the crash near the the town of Blackwell at 4:15 p.m.

Investigators think 70-year-old William Donker lost control of his snowmobile while on the trail system east of the town.

The DNR is handling the investigation.

RHINELANDER - An ongoing drug investigation led to the arrest of five people in Rhinelander earlier this week.
