EAGLE RIVER - Check your newspaper if you live in Vilas County.

It's time for an annual campaign in Eagle River to warm the children.

The Vilas County News Review has collected donations for 16 years to help buy warm winter clothing for kids and they need your help.

Warm The Children uses 100% of donations received to clothe any child enrolled in the program.

Sharina Adams is the Program Coordinator, "Each child age two through 17 is able to get $120 worth of clothing and those under two are able to get $60 worth."

Families in need head to Eagle River stores with volunteer shoppers and don't have to worry about footing the bill if they are going through tough times.

Adams says, "This year our fundraising goal is to reach over $60,000, which I have no doubt at all that we will reach. With that money we are able to send out over 560 children shopping this season."

Because of the program's large success last year, the News Review was recognized nationally for community service.
