President Obama Gets Back to Campaign in Green BaySubmitted: 11/01/2012
Story By NBC

GREEN BAY - November 1st finds us just five days away from the general election.

Wisconsin voters are directly in the political crosshairs. Thursday, President Obama returned to Wisconsin for a brief campaign stop.

The President jogged directly from air force one to an airport tarmac in Green Bay this morning.

President Obama began by summarizing the disaster of Hurricane Sandy. He pledged to help those whose lives have "been turned upside down."

Then, for the first time since Saturday, the president got back to his campaign focus.

"In the closing weeks of this campaign Governor Romney has been using all of his talents as a salesman to dress up these very same policies that failed our country so badly, the very same policies we have been cleaning up after for the past four years," President Obama said. "And he is offering them up as change. He is saying he is the candidate of change. Well, let me tell you Wisconsin - we know what change looks like and what the governor is offering sure ain't change."

President Obama's busy day was just beginning. After Green Bay, he went to Las Vegas and Colorado.

The latest NBC poll has the President up by 3 over Mitt Romney in Wisconsin.
