- Four men have been arrested in connection with a series of church burglaries in Marathon County.
Dustin Groff, 19, 18-year-old Ryan Hull, 18-year-old Derik Kraft and 18-year-old Collin Pfingsten were arrested Saturday, police said.
Six churches in Marathon County were burglarized.
The most recent incidents occurred Wednesday.
Police say several items were stolen from new Home Community Church in Easton and St. Agnes Church in Weston .
Police found several items reported stolen in one of the offender’s cars. In addition, they recovered several items in a motel room.
Hull will be charged with six accounts of burglary. Kraft is facing three counts of burglary and Groff and Pfingsten face two counts of burglary in addition to other charges, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
All four men are currently being held at the Marathon County jail.

This past weekend 26 properties had an open house. It was organized by Downtown Rhinelander, Inc. (DRI) and Flanders Reality Group. Finding the right home for a business can be hard. But the event tried to help those on the hunt.
"This way, you know, your here, you look, your able to talk to someone who knows the property. And you can really make a really good decision right now today," said Maggie Steffen, DRI Executive Director.
