WASHINGTON, D.C. - A bi-partisan deal is what will allow national payroll tax cuts extended.
Wisconsin Republican Rep. Sean Duffy weighed in on the agreement.
"We in the House wanted to pay for it, but the Senate Democrats and the President didn't want to have 'Pay Fors' in the bill," Duffy said. "So I'm disappointed in that, but I wasn't willing to hold every one of my constituents hostage so we have a pay for. So what we did is we extended it. It's not paid for on that portion, but everyone is going to continue on with the current tax rates for those rates."
