Tax Refund Checks Submitted: 11/06/2009
- You could have nearly 900 dollars waiting for you and not even know it.

According to the Internal Revenue Service nearly one-thousand Wisconsinites have yet to receive tax refund checks averaging about 886 dollars a piece.

Christopher Miller is a Spokesperson for the IRS in Wisconsin.

He says this happens when people neglect to update their address information with the IRS.

"These days it's a challenging economy. The Holidays are just around the corner and this is money that peope have waiting for them, it's theirs. The IRS wants to make sure that they get it," says Miller.

Miller also recommends signing up to receive refunds via direct deposit.

He says this will put an end to undelivered money as well as lost or stolen checks.

We have the names of people and their locations by county and town in our viewing area who have yet to receive their refunds listed below.

You can track your refund and make changes to your address information at the IRS site linked at the bottom of the page, or ff you'd prefer you can call: 1-800-829-1954.
