- If you'd like a say in how and where motor vehicles can be used in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, you've got a little over two months to get your voice heard.
The CNNF will continue to accept public suggestions for the 2010 Motor Vehicle Use Map until November 30th.
Suzanne Flory is a Public Affairs Officer for the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.
She says it's important to get public opinion on how forest trails are used, "The Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forests are public lands so these are everybody's lands and we want to make sure we're providing the access people need, but at the same time protecting the natural resources."
Flory says they began making these annual Motor Vehicle Use Maps last year.
She says they anticipate releasing the next map in March 2010.
If you'd like to submit a suggestion you can mail it directly to the CNNF Park Falls Office at Chequamegon Nicolet-NF
