New Campaign Report Tool Submitted: 11/24/2008
- A new tool for keeping track of political
contributions made in Wisconsin will be ready for use early next year.

The new database will be available on the state Government Accountability Board Web site.

The board completed a test of the system last week.

The system allows candidates to send campaign finance information directly to the board and have it posted at the same time on the Internet.

All candidates and committees registered with the state will file reports covering activity through the end of the year using the new system.

Those reports are due Feb. 2.

The new site is http://cfis.wi.gov.
