LAC DU FLAMBEAU - A judge is expected to rule on an injunction filed by five members of the Lac du Flambeau tribe tomorrow.
The group says they filed the injunction against new election rules which they say keeps them from running for office.
The tribal council adopted a new election code last week that prohibits candidates who have been convicted of crimes, removed from office or have engaged in what leaders determine are ``immoral or illegal acts'' against the tribal government.
The five include members who recently occupied a tribal government building to protest financial dealings and closed meetings.
Tribal officials told us today that a ruling is expected tomorrow morning.
The Lac du Flambeau elections are next Tuesday.
Six seats are on the ballot, including president and vice-president.
