TOWN OF PELICAN - A rollover accident pinned a woman underneath the car early Saturday morning in the town of Pelican.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says a man was backing the car and the woman was standing on the running board. The car overturned and trapped her.

The man was taken to Ministry Saint Mary's Hospital in Rhinelander, and she was flown to Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

After the man was released from the hospital, he was arrested for Possession of THC, Drug Paraphernalia, Reckless Driving Causing Great Bodily Harm and Probation Hold.

He's in the Oneida County Jail. The Sheriff's Office is still investigating.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Oneida County Ambulance, Pelican Fire Department, Pelican First Responders, Rhinelander Fire Department and Rhinelander Ambulance.

The senior center sold walking tacos, drinks, and desserts for people to eat in or take out. It was the second year the center held the event.

"We have an assembly line right on the kitchen counter there with whatever people want on them," said Oneida County Senior Center Activities and Volunteer Coordinator Stephanie Schroeder. "I thank everyone for stopping in. We really appreciate it."
