Walker announces run for second termSubmitted: 04/15/2014
Story By Associated Press

MADISON - Republican Governor Scott Walker wants another four year term.

Walker launched his re-election campaign today.

He's holding a series of rallies across Wisconsin.

He started the day in Dane, a small town north of Madison.

Walker said he deserves a second term because he turned Wisconsin around by cutting taxes, making sure everyone in poverty has access to health insurance and improved the economy leading to the creation of 100,000 new jobs.

His Democratic challenger Mary Burke says Walker has failed the state.

She says Wisconsin is 35th in private sector job growth.
