ROTHSCHILD - Drivers in Rothschild needed to be routed around a truck crash Friday morning.

A tractor-trailer crashed on northbound interstate 39, near the exit to the Cedar Creek Mall.

The wreck happened around 3:45 this morning.

The driver had some minor injuries, and was taken to a Wausau hospital to be treated.

Northbound interstate 39 was shut down after the crash.

Traffic was diverted onto business 51.

Towing crews and the Marathon County Highway Department worked to move the truck and its trailer.

The road fully reopened shortly before 9:00 a.m.

The truck suffered severe damage, and the median guardrail was also torn up.
