Walker heads to Las Vegas for meeting
Story By Associated Press

MADISON - Governor Scott Walker is headed to Las Vegas for a weekend meeting that's attracting a host of Republican 2016 presidential hopefuls.

Walker is scheduled to speak at the Republican Jewish Coalition spring leadership meeting at the Venetian resort, which is owned by billionaire Sheldon Adelson.

Walker is to speak on Saturday along with New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is also expected to attend the meeting.

Adelson donated $250,000 to Walker in March 2012 when Walker was facing a recall election. Normal campaign limitations did not apply during that time, allowing Walker to receive huge checks that normally would be barred.

While Walker explores a 2016 presidential bid, he's seeking re-election this November against Democrat Mary Burke.

Deep-frying a turkey is a popular cooking style, but it's also the most dangerous way to prepare your bird.

You should never leave the fryer unattended because it only takes seconds to boil over.

Turkey fryer explosions can be massive.

Set up the fryer in an open-air space, away from kids and pets.

"Fire can expand at least two times the size every minute. Leaving for two or three minutes? You're looking at a pretty big fire," firefighter and paramedic Phillip Skoug.

For those deer hunters out there, never place your fryer near your canopy.

You should also never leave food cooking in your kitchen untended either.
