Man who allegedly stabbed pregnant girlfriend pleads not guilty
Story By Kaitlyn Howe

EAGLE RIVER - Vilas County prosecutors believe Andrew Rosner tried to leave his pregnant girlfriend in a car to die after stabbing her in the chest in early February.

Rosner pleaded not guilty in court today.

He pleaded not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

That means he has to be evaluated at the jail.

Rosner will be in court next on April 29th.

Rosner's girlfriend Morgan Maney watched proceedings from court today.

She had driven herself to the hospital after the stabbing.

Police and doctors believe that likely saved her life.
