Goodman-Pembine one win away from state
GOODMAN - The Goodman-Pembine Patriots will be playing for their first trip to state tomorrow.

Goodman-Pembine takes on the defending state champs - Assumption. The game is at D.C. Everest High School beginning at 2pm.

Goodman-Pembine is now (19-4). They've won four of their last five games.

Patroits know the champs are loaded for bear. However, that doesn't mean they are shying away from the sectional final spotlight.

Assumption defeated Newman Catholic in Antigo Thursday night in the sectional semis.

Meanwhile, Goodman-Pembine knocked off Green Bay New Lutheran.

Part of the Patriots' attack is the play of the Goyak sisters - Claire and Courtney. Rachel Stankovich is another key cog for Goodamn-Pembine. Something else the Patriot players feel - is the love from their fans.
