Big Ol' Fish - Mar 6Submitted: 03/06/2014

Big Ol' Fish - Mar 6
- Here is 8-year old Sydney Eibisch (I-Bish) of Crystal Lake, IL. Last month while fishing with her dad and grandpa on Lake Alice near Tomahawk, Sydney caught her first walleye on her first ice fishing trip. She landed this 6-incher using a jig and minnow for bait. In fact, she was the only one to get on the board that day. After the picture, the fish was released.

4-year old Matthew Carpenter of Rhinelander was fishing at an area lake - when he landed this 22-inch Northern Pike. I'm told Matthew was very quick on the draw when the indicator on the tip up was spinning. Matthew is now giving tips to the rest of the family on how to land the big ones.

And Hadley and Tayler Olivotti of Phelps teamed up to catch this 27 inch walleye while fishing with their dad and grandfather or Papa on North Twin Lake back in December. The nine and 12-year-olds caught the fish using a golden shiner. It's their biggest walleye. This prize is getting mounted.
