Northland Pines blanks Hodags boys hockeySubmitted: 01/21/2014

RHINELANDER - In boys hockey on Tuesday night, Rhinelander was back at home. The Hodags faced Northland Pines. Pines is ranked seventh in the state.

In the first period, Noah Weber scored to give the Eagles a (1-0) lead.

Later in the period, Northland Pines was on the power play. The Eagle capitalized. Connor Cox passed to Spencer Oberg who lit the lamp.

Northland Pines led 2-0 after the first period. The Eagles out-shot the Hodags 17-1 in the period.


Northland Pines rolled to the 5-0 shutout.
