Tomahawk's Harmon leads Hatchets to winSubmitted: 01/14/2014

TOMAHAWK - Most of the high school sports schedule was cancelled Tuesday nightbecause of the weather. In one of the few games tonight, the Prentice girls basketball team was in Tomahawk.

In the first quarter, Allyson Nehls hit a jumper to give Prentice the early lead.

But late in the quarter, Haley Fau Fau made a hook shot to give Tomahawk the lead. She finished with 10 points. The Hatchets led by one after the end of the first quarter.


In the second quarter, Jessie Harmon nailed a 3-ptr from the top of the key. She led the Hatchets with a game-high 29 points.

Tomahawk won a close one 49-45. It was the second win of the season for the Hatchets.
