TAYLOR CO. - We now know the names of the hunters involved in a deadly Taylor County Crash.

52-year-old Juan Salinas of Roscoe, Illinois was killed when he was hit by a car.

It happened around 5 pm Friday in Taylor County.

Salinas was with a group of hunters standing on or near County Line road near the border of the Town of Aurora and Town of Pershing.

A car driving at a high rate of speed hit Juan Salinas and 53-year-old Fernando Salinas.

Fernando Salinas, also of Roscoe, Illinois is in serious but stable condition at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

The driver, 42-year-old James L. Winchel of Sheldon, is in stable condition at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

The Taylor County Sheriff's office is investigating.

They believe speed and alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

MARSHFIELD - More Wisconsin residents have reported they were victims of a Green Bay Packers ticket scam through which police say a 37-year-old Marshfield man stole tens of thousands of dollars.

Lt. Darren Larson of the Marshfield Police Department's detective bureau tells the News-Herald Media (http://mnhne.ws/1pqjCqg ) that football fans from outside the department's jurisdiction are coming forward. The Marshfield man, whose name hasn't been released by police, previously admitted to scamming local fans seeking Packers tickets.

Art lovers travel from all over to go to painting and photography classes at TreehavenSubmitted: 09/23/2014

TOMAHAWK - People traveled from all over the country to take a class taught in Tomahawk.

Painting and Sketching in the Northwoods is being taught at Treehaven.

A photography class is also being offered.

Both classes take place over the next two weeks.

One of the teachers thinks this class is helpful because people stay at Treehaven for the duration of the course.

WISCONSIN - Sales of existing homes in Wisconsin have declined.

The Wisconsin Realtors Association reports sales dropped 5.7 percent in August compared to a year earlier.

Association board chairman Steve Lane says tighter inventory of properties in the state's metro areas could have slowed sales there.

MERRILL - Late last year, a 20-year-old Merrill woman claimed she had cancer. Celina Winchell and her father asked at least 17 businesses in Lincoln and Marathon Counties to put out collection containers for donations to the family.

But Winchell never had cancer. In fact, investigators found she had nothing worse than a sinus infection.

On Tuesday, Winchell's father was sentenced for his role in the scam.

ACROSS WISCONSIN - You should expect to see even more political advertisements as the November election approaches.

A report from the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel shows Democrats spent more than Republicans for the governor's race on television ads across the state this summer.

That's a reversal from 2012. The report showed that both candidates and outside groups spent nearly $5 million in television ads.

A September release of the Marquette University Law School Polls shows a close race between Mary Burke and Governor Scott Walker (R-Wisconsin). Gov. Walker received support from 46% of all registered voters polled, while Burke received 46% support.

MARATHON COUNTY - Police want your help finding an inmate who walked away in Marathon County.

The sheriff's department tells us inmate Dylan Alexandroni had been out on work release at Draeger's Dairy Farm.

At 8:45 Monday night, the Marathon County Jail got a call from Draeger's that Alexandroni had quit working and left.

Alexandroni called the work release office and talked to an officer.
