Wisconsin beats Minnesota for 10th straight timeSubmitted: 11/23/2013

MINNEAPOLIS - James White rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown and No. 16 Wisconsin beat Minnesota for the 10th straight time in a 20-7 victory on Saturday.

Jared Abbrederis had seven catches for 67 yards and a touchdown and Chris Borland recovered two fumbles and forced one to tie the NCAA record for career fumbles caused. After the game, the Badgers (9-2, 6-1 Big Ten) hoisted Paul Bunyan's Axe and used it to chop the Gophers goal post when the time ran out.

Aaron Hill returned an interception for a touchdown and David Cobb rushed for 68 yards for the Golden Gophers (8-3, 4-3). But Philip Nelson completed just 7 of 23 passes for 83 yards and the Gophers turned the ball over three times to snap a four-game winning streak.

MEDFORD - Medford Police wants a 17-year-old charged with a bomb scare felony after Wednesday's evacuation of the high school.

The suspect made two different bomb threats through the social media app "Yik Yak."

He referred to bombs in his locker.

Medford Area Senior High was evacuated and searched after 1 o'clock.

MADISON - With less than five weeks until Election Day, a new poll shows Gov. Scott Walker is slightly ahead of Democrat Mary Burke in the race for Wisconsin governor.

The Marquette University Law School poll released Wednesday shows Walker with 50.5 percent support among likely voters compared with 44.7 percent for Burke.

That 5.8-point lead is just above the poll's 4.5 percentage point margin of error.
