UPDATE: Wood Co. emergency room reopens after car crashSubmitted: 11/23/2013

WISCONSIN RAPIDS - The Riverview Hospital emergency room reopened late Saturday night.

The Riverview Hospital emergency room will remain closed indefinitely.

That's because a car crashed into it Saturday afternoon.

Police believe the driver of the car had a medical emergency.

The car crossed divided highway and a sidewalk.

It then hit a tree before crashing into the emergency room.

A hospital employee and three others inside the building suffered minor injuries.

They are being treated at Riverview Hospital.

The driver also has minor injuries.

He was taken to St. Joseph's hospital.

The emergency room has water and structural damage.

Riverview hospital is sending incoming emergency patients to St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point and St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Wisconsin Rapids police are investigating the crash.

A federal court in Wisconsin on Friday rejected an attempt by pro-Donald Trump groups to stop a recount of the state's presidential vote, saying there was no harm in allowing it to continue.

Two pro-Trump political action committees and a Wisconsin voter on Thursday filed a lawsuit and a request for a temporary restraining order seeking to stop the recount, arguing that it was an unconstitutional violation of the Constitutional rights of people who had voted for Trump.

EAGLE RIVER - Every year, a Christmas tree from Wisconsin helps brighten the Capitol rotunda in Madison. 

The Governor officially lit this years tree, which is from Eagle River, Friday.

While the trees decorations provided the light, the Northland Pines High School choir provided the sound.

"It's in the capitol and its, I mean, people from the state come to see it," said Northlands Pines sophomore Malcolm McCanles.

Cities all over the Northwoods want to make sure your cars and the roads stay safe with each snowfall with winter parking regulations. 

The regulations in the city of Rhinelander include odd and even street parking, to make it easier for clearing roads.

"When the snow plows go out, it really creates a problem for when they have to go around vehicles on the streets," said Rhinelander Police Department Patrol Sergent Kurt Helke

MONICO - Slippery roads caused a rollover crash between Monico and Crandon Friday morning.

No one was hurt in the pickup truck rollover, and deputies won't hand out any citations.

One other car ended up in the ditch.

Deputies on scene said that stretch of Highway 8 seemed to be one of the only slippery roads in all of Oneida County.

Responders narrowed traffic flow on Highway 8 to one lane while the accident was cleared.
