PRENTICE, THREE LAKES - The first game is one of the most anticipated moments throughout the season. Regardless of the sport.

Tuesday night was opening night of action in boys basketball.

History was also being made in Prentice.

The Amy Ring era began for the Buccaneers. She is believed to be the first woman to lead the Prentice boys basketball program.


She coached Prentice's C-team as an assistant last season.

Prentice at home hosting Loyal.

Dalton Rohde had a team high 25 points, but Loyal would spoil the Buccaneers first game winning 62-48.

Dalton's brother Drew added 14.

The Three Lakes Bluejays also tipped off at home. The Bluejays faced Lincoln Hills out of Irma.

Three Lakes in white trailed by 7 at the break.

Lincoln Hills was too much. They knocked off Three Lakes 52-40.
