Story By Joe Dufek

GREEN BAY - Sunday, the Packers lost something in their victory over Cleveland.

The services of Tight End Jermichael Finley.

In the fourth quarter, Finley received a blow to the head from Cleveland defensive back Tayshon Gipson.

Finley layed motionless for several minutes. He was eventually carted off the field and taken to an area hospital.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinnel is reporting Finley has a bruised spinal cord in the neck. He is having more tests done.

There is no timetable for Finley's return.

Finley suffered a concussion earlier this season. His son, wanted Finley to retire after that. It will be interesting to see how Finley responds, and what he will do the rest of the season.

Monday night, Finley reported on Twitter he was out of Intensive Care Unit. He was also able to walk to and from the shower on Monday.

After Sunday's game, many of the players expressed concern for Finley.

"He's had a very good year for us," explains quarterback Aaron Rodgers. "Injuries are part of the game. But those (injuries requiring a player to be carted off the field) are tough to see."
