Big Ol' Fish - Oct 17Submitted: 10/17/2013
Story By Joe Dufek

- 10 year old Severin Krook of Pelican Lake last month had one of the biggest days in four years of fishing. While fishing with his grandpa on the Wolf River, he landed this big largemouth bass. 20 inches long - the biggest one he's ever caught. He was using a minnow for bait. The next stop for this beauty, is his bedroom wall.

Eagle River's Robert Jacobs has been hitting all of the lakes in the Northwoods hard for muskie. But on this trip, he hauled in a nice northern. Using a Hardhead lure, he reeled in this 45 inch prize. After the picture, the fish was released.

And check out the beauty little June Avery of Virginia caught while visiting her grandparents in Post Lake. As you can see, it's almost has big as the 8-year old. Although we're not sure the length, but it's definitely the biggest one she's ever caught. Grandpa helped June release the fish so it can keep on swimming.
