PORTAGE COUNTY - A train kills a man lying on the tracks in Portage County.

52 year old Richard Gathercoal from Milladore was killed.

Deputies got called just before noon yesterday to the tracks near the intersection of County P and County N.

Emergency brakes were used, but Gathercoal was run over and dragged about 100 yards.

He died from massive head and internal trauma.
