Story By WJFW Newsteam

LINCOLN CO. - You might want to adjust your morning drive if you travel on Highway 17.

Crews plan to begin work Monday morning on Highway 17 in Lincoln County between County G and Norwegian Road.

The work will improve the intersection by building a right-turn lane.

The highway will remain open to traffic but there will be single lane closures.

Construction should be complete by Friday October 18.

American Asphalt of Wisconsin is the prime contractor for the $149,000 project.

Ninety percent of the project will be paid for with federal transportation funds with the remaining 10 percent will be paid for with state transportation funds.
