Drug bust in Forest CountySubmitted: 09/25/2013

LAONA - Two people got arrested in a Forest County drug bust early this morning.

Deputies and Crandon police searched a home at 4920 Midway Lane in the town of Laona around 2:15.

39 year old Andrew Phillips and and 19 year old Taylor LaBarge were arrested.

Possible charges include delivery of cocaine and marijuana, and keeping a drug house.

The investigation continues, and more arrests might be made.

MADISON - Gov. Scott Walker has appointed attorney Dan Kelly to the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Walker's spokesman Tom Everson told The Associated Press on Friday that the governor had decided to name Kelly to the seven-member court.

Kelly will replace retiring Justice David Prosser. His appointment won't change the court's 5-2 conservative majority, however.
