Congressman Paul Ryan to write bookSubmitted: 09/23/2013
Story By Associated Press

NEW YORK - Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan will write a book.

He was the Republican vice presidential candidate in 2012.

Now he's considered a possible presidential contender for 2016.

Ryan has an agreement with a branch of Grand Central Publishing for a book about the state of conservatism.

The book will be called ``Where Do We Go From Here?'' and is scheduled to be released in August 2014.

Books have virtually become a requirement for national candidates.

Because of rules governing the House of Representatives, Ryan was not permitted to accept an advance, only royalties from sales.
