Big Ol' Fish - Sept 19Submitted: 09/19/2013
Story By Joe Dufek

- Tim Guth of Pelican Lake was fishing with his daughter Jacklin before she left for college recently. While muskie fishing on Pelican Lake, Tim hauled in this 47 1/2 inch beauty, using a top-raider. After the picture, the fish was released.

Antigo's John Chriske was fishing on Legend Lake when he got a strike. He reeled in this huge 19 1/4 inch large mouth bass. It weighed 4 pounds. John wife says it was also great at supper.

Michael Weinmann of Virginia Beach, Virginia went on his first fishing trip with his father in law on the Eagle River chain.

After catching a 5 pound large mouth bass earlier in the day, Michael and his father in law decided to try one more time. But the engine died about 120 feet away from shore. As they were trolling to shore, Michael decided to try his luck near a fallen tree. There he landed his first muskie - a 37-incher. Congratulations on turning what could have been a rough day of fishing, into a memorable one.
