Soldier accused of helping to hide corpse reaches dealSubmitted: 09/16/2013
Story By Associated Press

MADISON - The solider accused of helping her husband hide his half-brother's corpse has reached a plea deal.

Shannon Remus was accused of hiding a corpse in the death of Matthew Graville last year.

Detectives believe Remus' husband, Jeffrey Vogelsberg, beat Graville to death in the Mazomanie rental home they shared.

They then buried the body in the woods.

They say Vogelsberg took Remus to the grave and she agreed to keep quiet.

Vogelsberg is set to stand trial in October.
