SHAWANO - Police were looking for a Menasha man who died when his SUV slammed into a semi in Shawano county.

35-year-old Keith Carpenter was wanted in connection with a domestic disturbance.

He was dead at the scene of the collision early Tuesday on Highway 29.

While deputies were investigating the crash, Menasha police were looking for Carpenter on a report of a domestic disturbance a few hours earlier.

Witnesses say Carpenter's SUV turned off its lights moments before slamming into the semi.

The collision resulted in a large spill of diesel fuel.

The SUV caught fire and burned until fire officials put it out.
