Thousands lose power in northern WisconsinSubmitted: 08/26/2013
Story By Kira Lynne

RHINELANDER - A line of strong thunderstorms this morning may have been the cause of several power outages in Rhinelander.

You might have been watching this morning when power went out at the studio, leaving this nice still frame on your television screens for almost 3 hours.

WPS workers near the Highway 8 and County Road G intersection said a downed tree on a powerline may have been the cause of the outages.

WPS reported more than 2-thousand customers lost power in Rhinelander.
