Law enforcement comes together to fight drugs in MerrillSubmitted: 08/15/2013

MERRILL - Northwoods law enforcement agencies come together to stop crime in their community.

Six area departments combined to try and remove drugs from the Merrill community.

On Friday, August 9th... 32 officers and three K-9 units swept the city.

Over a span of a few hours they performed 56 traffic stops, 35 home visits, and checked on 40 parole clients.


Because of the joint operation, there were 8 felony and 7 misdemeanor charges made.
