AP Source: Pistons acquire PG Jennings from BucksSubmitted: 07/30/2013
Story By Associated Press

MILWAUKEE - A person familiar with the deal tells The Associated Press that the Detroit Pistons have acquired point guard Brandon Jennings from the Milwaukee Bucks for point guard Brandon Knight and two prospects.

The person, who spoke Tuesday on condition of anonymity because the trade hasn't been announced, says Jennings has agreed to a $24 million, three-year contract with the Pistons. The person says Detroit will also give up seldom-used center Viacheslav Kravtsov and forward Khris Middleton in the trade.

Detroit has been active this offseason _ signing free agents Josh Smith, Chauncey Billups and Luigi Datome _ as it desperately tries to end its four-year postseason drought.

The Pistons signed Billups to mentor Knight, but have chosen to replace him with Jennings.

You could find people zipped up in fleece jackets trying to find their way out of a corn maze Sunday. This is the 15th year Willow Springs Garden held its corn maze in the Town of Maine.

They started this to raise money to restore the old town hall.

"We wanted to restore it. Not for sure what we were going to use it for at first, but then the community kind of indicated to us that they want to use it," said Willlow Springs Garden Owner Peggy Griffin. "We created it to host family events, wedding, reunions, anniversaries are going on there today."
